Dolcetto is one of our favorite varieties when the weather starts to cool, and if you’ve only had one or two versions of it, you might be surprised by just how much personality this grape can have!
Mia is pouring six different Dolcettos, to explore the grape from every angle. We’ll taste three wines from Dogliani, the village in Piedmont known for the best of the best of the variety, alongside three other expressions that show off just how diverse Dolcetto can be. Expect plenty of juicy dark fruit, savory notes, that signature little herbal edge, and a whole lot of variation from glass to glass.
This is a fun, casual deep dive into a grape we think deserves a lot more attention, especially this time of year!
